The Vestey Gallery of British Sporting Art


The Vestey Gallery of British Sporting Art opened in 1986 to showcase the best of British sporting paintings, prints and sculpture. Situated within the National Horseracing Museum in Newmarket, the gallery was funded by the generous support of Edmund Vestey. In September 2016 The BSAT moved its collection to Palace House, Newmarket and works from the collection form the foundation of the displays at in the Fred Packard Museums and Art Galleries of Sporting Art. As a tribute our late benefactor the first floor of the new Gallery is named the Vestey Gallery
