We are delighted to announce that this year Annual General Meeting will be held at the Welbeck Estate Nottinghamshire Friday 14th October
The AGM itself will be in the School of Artisan Food. It will be followed by a short introductory talk by Curator of Harley Gallery, Lisa Gee.The school was originally the Welbeck estate fire stables which formed part of Welbeck village. There will be a seasonal buffet lunch with locally sourced ingredients, freshly prepared using traditional methods within the school.
After lunch you there will be a guided walk through the estate past the Welbeck Riding School and famous tunnels to the Portland Collection at the Harley Gallery. The display comprises of the historic fine and decorative arts collections of the Cavendish-Bentinck family. The works in the Collections are some of the very best of their kind and can rival many regional and national museum collections. The new building is next to the existing Harley Gallery, within the walls of the Victorian Tan Gallop. It was originally built as a covered area where the Welbeck Estate’s race horses could be trained in winter or poor weather.
The AGM will begin at 11.30 for 12:00 and will last about 20-30 minutes. The cost to include lunch and optional tours is £45. Non Members are welcome but are asked not to participate in the AGM itself
