Guest speaker, Mr Daniel Crane is one of Britain and Ireland's most talented and charismatic sporting artists and he will entertain us with some of his favourite memories and experiences. His exhibitions at venues that include Burghley, Cheltenham and Peterborough draw a steady crowd of enthusiastic visitors who are drawn by his ability to capture on canvas the truth of the hunting scenes he specialises in. Like Lionel Edwards before him, Daniel has hunted most of his life with many packs and served as Master of the Scarteen hounds.
More recently, Daniel has served as artist in residence to the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment during the coronation of King Charles III. This follows a hugely successful exhibition of works in 2011, painted during the momentous period of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee and the wedding of the now Prince and Princess of Wales.
We will also be launching a fantastic fundraiser headed by Zoe Carmichael.
